Who are we?

Originally set up in 1981, we have been creating fantastic pet products for over 40 years, with the company continuing to be family run. Our Scandinavian heritage (one of our founders is Danish) inspires many of our designs and combined with our UK manufacturing expertise, we can produce marvellous products.

Our fabulous factory is located in the heart of stunning Yorkshire, where the majority of our manufacturing takes place. At Danish Design, we're all about combining beautiful design with the best raw materials to create products that not only look amazing, but also offer comfort and durability.

We understand that pets are more than just pets; they're family members, and they deserve nothing but the best. We really do care about every last detail.

In 2023, we became part of the Petcare Group (based in Sweden). Petcare’s Group members feature a handful of Scandinavian companies, all in the pet industry, with us becoming the first member from the UK. We have maintained a successful trading partnership with the founding member of Petcare for over 30 years. This partnership enables us to enhance product offerings, strengthen supply chains and improve overall customer experiences.

Our focus on sustainability means that we currently recycle over 90% of our waste, and we are constantly searching for innovative new materials that create fantastic products for your furry companion. We use a variety of fabulous fillings inside our products, many of which contain recycled content. Look out for the symbols below on our product pages to guide you.

We have an excellent team, some who have been with us for over 30 years, providing an extensive range of experience and expertise. Recognised as market leaders in the UK, we also supply our products globally with some key distributors across Europe.
